The view and spacious balcony exceeded our expectations. Perfect view, ocean front. We were not far from water, only a "tier above', and if you know amalfi than you know that proximity to ocean is most important.
Each day clean linen was delivered and the air conditioning worked well which can be challenging commodities in italy hotels.

Location, family running the hotel, the restaurant, views, breakfast. LOVED our stay! Everyone was so helpful. Enjoyed one of my favorite meals in Italy on the rooftop. So appreciated the parking, and the help getting in and out!

Every single thing!! Loved the Hotel and the Rispoli family. Luigi and Sandra were very sweet and kind people. Fredrick and Alessia were very friendly and helpful. Last but not least, Daniela was a very gracious host and a lifted chef. The place is immaculately cleaned and beautifully appointed. We will be back!

This is a family owned and operated business. They were all incredibly kind and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean. The location was perfect. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The views were absolutely breathtaking. They were just the nicest people. We are so glad that we chose this hotel. It was such a pleasant experience.

People. Reliable. Beauty. Removed. How the took care of us. We, collectively, all ask the same repetitive When/What/How type questions and everyone seemed genuinely in tune with this give & take. The raisin filled tiny pastries
At Hotel Il Pino you decide where to have breakfast, on the terrace or on your private balcony; either way you have a fantastic view across the Amalfi Coast.

The hotel was perfect for our trip. Location wise it is between Positano and Amalfi being far enough for some quiet but close enough to travel in via the bus whenever we needed. The staff from the concierge team to the breakfast and housekeeping staff were top notch. The concierge team went out of their way to ensure we had the perfect trip. While not officially part of the hotel, the restaurant was also a highlight along with the inhouse cooking class. Best of all the views were second to not be, we spent most of our afternoons/evenings out by the pool taking it all on. We will definitely be back to stay with Il Pino.

Priano is very small, so it is less expensive than the other cities close by. The church and the local neighborhood around were enjoyable. The fine restaurants were very expensive, and the moderate priced restaurants were hit and miss.

We love Priania we have been there several times and it never disappoints. It’s a small town but everything you need is there the bus service to Positano and Amalfi is very handy. We were disappointed that the ferries weren’t operating yet so we didn’t get to Capri but all the more reason to come back again.

There's not a lot to do in Praiano itself but it's a great place to stay for day trips to Positano and Amalfi with frequent buses stopping in the village. It was good to be away from the crowds in the evenings and whilst small the choice and standard of restaurants was good

Buses to and from neighbouring Amalfi and positano are cheap but don't necessarily arrive on time !! Tickets must be purchased in advance at little shops. The locals are very friendly and happy to point you in the right direction and if you need help with the steep stairs take the little local
Bus for one euro that runs exactly in time and to listen to the locals is a joy. Such a community feel and a great feel good boost !!

The Sentieri degli Dei was my favorite.
The Sentieri degli Dei was my favorite. We walked from Praiano to Positano and had lunch in Nochelle. The walk up the to the church and the views were wonderful. The little town on the hillside was clean and bright and wonderful for anyone who does not mind walking up and down many steps. I would recommend that future travellers not spend much time in either Positano or Amalfi. Both were crowded and very touristy.

A great value to stay as "home base".
A great value to stay as "home base". We did day trips to Positano and Amalfi each day via water taxi. The bus would have been much more economical but we wanted to see each town from the water and the taxis provided a mini tour of the coast with each trip. We did want to take the city bus to the beach on a Sunday AM, but after waiting about 20 minutes it passed our stop by b/c it was packed full. We decided to do the 30 minute walk to Il Gavitella beach and discovered some nice small shops and the San Gennaro church.
The town itself has great restaurant options including Il Pirata, Franchino and La Moressa.
First of all, location! Beachfront, great restaurant, and hotel room was very new and comfortable. Praiano was definitely a highlight on our trip to Italy. Not only is the restaurant at the hotel amazing, but there were 5 other restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed a water taxi to Positano for a day trip (which was great- but we were thrilled we made the decision to stay in Praiano over Positano). Breakfast was great, staff were so friendly, and the view was simply the best. We will be back for sure, hopefully sooner than later!
The view from the room was breathtaking and the breakfast was great!! The staff were kind and accommodating. We had a lovely stay there and would recommend. There was a lovely restaurant down and across the road from the hotel on the corner where we had dinner twice, the service was amazing and the food delicious. We really enjoyed our stay in Praiano. Also, we climbed the stairs from Praiano to start the 'Path of the Gods' hike to Positano - it was amazing! Villa Bella Vista was located perfectly for what we wanted to do.
The nicest hosts and staff!!! I traveled with my husband and parents. We all agreed it was one of the best attended hotels, they made us feel like family. The rooms were impeccable and decorated with such thoughtful beautiful minimal decor. We both had balcony rooms and sunrises were beautiful. Great views of the coast. free onsite parking was a great plus. Loved the seafood pasta and food served for dinner. Very close to Positano (15mins) hope to be back! Highly recommend.
I love this place! would recommend it for sure! Location is great right between Amalfi and Positano. we took a water taxi right from the hotel to Positano which was 10 min very close. the hotel is clean, we had breakfast included the staff even opened the kitchen earlier for us to accommodate because we were leaving early in the morning. Everyone was very friendly and super helpful, we felt like home. Will miss this place a lot!
Thank you for everything!
We liked everything about this property! We have been travelling for 4 weeks around Italy and this was by far our favourite place! The facilities were clean, staff were amazing, views were amazing, buffet breakfast was delicious and the restaurant is an absolute must try! The food was incredible and the service was fantastic. We were very happy with our stay here. 3 nights was not long enough so we would recommend staying longer if you can
The location is absolutely perfect, Praiano is very close to Positano and is a great place to stay if you're looking for a more relaxing, less hectic location. The bus stop to get to Positano was a few steps from the hotel which was great. iL Pirata was also a close walk and was an incredible restaurant nearby. The staff, specifically Filippo and Elvio, were incredible! We loved our stay and would definitely come back.
This family owned hotel is stunning! Somehow they built it on the side of a cliff so the views are spectacular from every location in the hotel! The grounds are beautifully manicured for a true feeling of paradise. The elevator down to the beach pool and tunnels through the mountain are such a cool experience!
The staff was extremely professional and catered to our every need, and the food was outstanding.
Staff fantastic, so patient, helpful, warm and firendly. Breakfast so fresh and tasty. The itself hotel was BEYOND sparkling clean - haven't seen anything like it before. Everything exceeded our expectations. Room with balcony was great. Praiano is hilly in general, but relatively easy to walk and pretty close to a fantastic restaurant - Kasai. Amazing views, brilliant place. Would definitely stay again.
Rafaelle was an incredible host and this location had the most incredible vista of both Praiano, Positano, and the coast. The unit was much larger than anticipated and had a lovely deck to lounge in the sun and enjoy the views. The unit was located within walking distance to the center Praiano and close to the local bus stations for quick access to Positano and Amalfi.
Beautiful room, high ceilings, large balcony with sun loungers and table and chairs. Stunning views. Good breakfast spread. Husband has coeliac disease and they catered for him very well which was very kind of them. Staff happy to organise taxi to and from airport. Small beach 5 minutes down the road and Praiano a 20 minute walk away. Bus stop directly outside hotel.
Amazing hotel, views, location, staff, breakfast!
we couldn’t fault it!
the beach area was amazing and the best we found on the entire Amalfi coast! and the boat taxis from the hotel were perfect!
we were even able to start the walk over the path of the gods from the hotel and then got a water taxi back from Positano which worked really well!
free parking too!
Hotel Margherita was absolutely lovely! the staff was top notch, always available to help. The room itself couldn’t have been nicer, with a wonderful view of the ocean. We loved being in quiet Priano as opposed to the hustle and bustle of Positano, but it was very easy to get to and from town. We loved the refillable water bottles and free breakfast.
The staff! The family that owns the hotel are amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and the views are breathtaking! We received top notch service at Hotel Pellegrino, they helped us with transportation, booking tours, restaurant reservations, and more. The food at the Pellegrino was some of the best food I had during my vacation in Italy.
Loved our stay here- we did not want to leave.
The staff were amazing and could not do enough for us from breakfast each morning to a shuttle in the evening. The room was so clean and comfortable.
The pool area was very relaxing.
Would highly recommend hotel Margherita to everyone.
The perfect location, Praiano is simply stunning.
This property has the best view and location!! The service is impeccable and the breakfast is superb!.
The staff at Il Pino is one of the best in Italy!!. Rosa at reception couldn't be more helpful and kind, so accommodating!!
Guido, Assunta (spelling?) were amazing, so kind and helpful!!. Will be back for sure!!!
The hotel has a splendid sea view , where you can see positano across and Capri island. Hotel is located across the Praiano bus station easy for public transportation, and near a local Italian market and restaurant.
Incredible views, comfortable room with everything we needed, and the best breakfast we had in Italy. Perfect location out of the hustle and bustle of the rest of Amalfi Coast. Highly recommend.
Amazing place! The best we stayed in Italy. Absolutely gorgeous view, great comfortable room with attention to all the little details. Would love to come back and stay longer.
Perfect location, lovely staff, excellent facilities and great breakfast. We felt apart of the family at Hotel La Conchiglia. Would recommend to anyone staying at Praiano.
The location is perfect - away from the madness of Positano but close enough to visit. The breakfast was a highlight - coffee was the best we had in Italy!
